Rare Pennsylvania Whiskey

A whiskey rooted in history and made to be shared.

On the front of every bottle, you’ll see a black ball... a symbol tied to a little-known firehouse tradition. In our historic firehouse-turned-distillery, firefighters once held secret votes to decide if a member had earned their place within the company. A white ball meant you stayed. A black ball meant you were out. We honor that legacy with Rare Pennsylvania Whiskey, a spirit so exceptional, it earned a unanimous vote to leave the firehouse and be shared with the world.

Distilled from locally sourced Pennsylvania corn and rye (75% corn, 25% rye), this ultra-small batch whiskey leans into its grain bill to create a naturally smoother, slightly sweeter profile than high-rye counterparts. Only 250 bottles are produced at a time, which allows for hands-on craftsmanship, greater quality control, and deep attention to every bottle. It’s aged for 2.5 years + with American oak wood spirals, which offer more oak surface area for the spirit to interact with than with a traditional barrel which draws out rich, mature flavors typically found in older whiskeys.

A bold, approachable pour layered with oak, nuts, smoke, and caramel.
